After the install, one of the crew stayed around to be certain all was working correctly, and he heard water being brought into the washer. The installation was done correctly by the team that arrived with no scratches or mars on the exterior. It's only been about 3 weeks since we've had it, but so far so good. I could never do that with my previous GE dishwasher. The cycles are all fairly quiet and the dishes turn out squeaky clean, even with moderate food stuck to the plates and some glasses when originally loaded. Though it doesn't have any place to use detergent for the pre-wash cycle, like my previous dishwasher, I just add a bit of dishwasher powder to the bottom of the door before closing it, as recommended by an appliance fellow I watched online.
